The incident started around 11:30 p.m. Monday, March 25, when Dandre Bullock, 18, was seen smoking near a gas pump at the Global Gas Station, 224 Connective Ave., said Norwalk Police Sgt. Sofia Gulino.
A store manager approached Bullock, who refused to stop smoking when asked and began arguing with the manager. A friend, then convinced him to leave the area, Gulino said.
Several hours later, around 1:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 26, Bullock returned to the station and ask to speak with the manager.
When he was told the manager was gone, he responded by saying that he would be back with a gun and made reference to a shooting, before leaving the area again, she added.
Police responded and were able to identify Bullock and the car thru video surveillance.
He was tracked to a Scribner Avenue address where he was arrested without incident, Gulino said. No gun was recovered.
Bullock was charged with threatening and breach of peace. He is being held on a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 10.
